Architecture and Set Design
Ever imagined working in the theater? Are you interested in architecture? Do you like building things? Did you know that a set designer works closely with a director to design and build the backdrop for a dance, theater, or spoken word performances? In this class, we will design and build a theatrical set. Our built designs will be showcased at the SambaMora dance performance at ODC and at the Out of Site performance at the Ocean Avenue Arts Walk in December. Black & White Photography
With a 35mm camera in hand and professional darkroom to use, your stories are revealed! In this intermediate class you will learn to use 35mm film cameras to take meaningful and memorable photos. Our final project will be exhibited at the Ocean Avenue Arts Walk. |
Center Left Poetry
Be more than you think you are. In this poetry/Hip Hop workshop we will study and practice traditional poetry forms to develop control over craft and explore ways to write moving monologues and slinky third-person narratives. The class will culminate in a performance at the Ocean Avenue Arts Walk. DANCE: Bhangra and West African

Together they make a fresh and live dance class. If you like to dance and sweat, then this class is for you. (Or if you need P.E. credits at school!) Y The class will culminate in a performance at the Ocean Avenue Arts Walk. |
