SUNDAY, DECEMBER 11, 12-6PM
An exhibition of visual artwork and videos from Out of Site, City Arts & Tech HS, June Jordan HS, Balboa HS, Oasis for Girls, Chrysalis Studio, YBCA Young Artists at Work and BAYCAT will be on display throughout the day.
We’ll also hear from the San Francisco Supervisor’s office, Associate Superintendent Kevin Truitt and the San Francisco Youth Commission
While you’re here, stop by the YBCA YAAW Youth Arts Leadership Incubator to contribute your thoughts on Bay Area Youth Arts and Activism today: What inspires you? What makes you angry? How do we effectively turn our inspiration and rage into Art-as-Activism? What kind of work do we love? What do we want to see more of in the coming year? How can we, as young leaders in the Bay Area, work together to create the landscape we envision? Grab a marker, brainstorm your ideas, and help contribute to the next era of Bay Area Youth Arts Leadership.
